Hello Rainmakers,
This is David Edwards, who earlier this year caught our eye when he left what must have been a good job at investment banking giant Houlihan Lokey to join a small privately owned specialist business offering deal origination services to corporates and private equity investors.
His new business is Origin IQ, or at least it is now. Until this morning it was known as Market Mapping.
We’re always interested in the career moves that different members of the Rainmakers community make, partly because of what that says about how the future is shaping up
THE SIREN CALL OF ENTERPRISE
Working around entrepreneurs is contagious.
Like many Rainmakers who work around the real animal spirits of the enterprising class, David Edwards has found that some of their energy and zeal has rubbed off on him.
We can’t accurately pinpoint when we first met, but it may have been when the business he left at the start of this year was called Altium, or maybe GCA Altium. But certainly not Houlihan Lokey, which it is called now.
